Transponder timing ensures exact results!
A modern transponder system (ALGE TIMING) will not only deliver prompt results at the Carinthia Cycle Marathon, but also record the split times. A deposit (€ 10,--) will be charged for the transponder, whereby € 5,-- will be refunded at the finish after it has been returned. However, we would like to point out that every participant is obliged to return the transponder, as the value is far higher than the deposit. The participant is liable for any damage and the organizer is entitled to claim the cost of the transponder. The transponder will be handed out with the start number.
Timekeeping will only take place on the three climbs according to the announcement! The total time of these three climbs is the total time of the participant! There is no timekeeping between the climbs! Attention: For the entire route (106 km) each participant must be on the road for at least 3:30 h and a maximum of 6:00 h! Any participant who exceeds or falls short of this time will not be included in the results list!
